It’s Not Always What You Say: Understanding the Impact of Your Communication Style

Michelle Klimczak HeadshotWe spend a great deal of time thinking about what we want to say; far less attention is given to how we say it.

Communication style influences every interaction. It affects how we build relationships, address conflict, gain buy-in, and lead others. Even when our intentions are clear, our delivery can shape how our message is received.

This session helps participants identify their natural communication style and better understand its impact. Through discussion and assessment, we’ll explore the advantages and drawbacks of each style, common sources of friction, and the dynamics that make some interactions easy while others feel like work.

Participants will leave with greater self-awareness and practical strategies for adapting their communication to different people and situations, a powerful way to build trust and effective collaboration.
