Slipping Away. . .
As we approach the last days of summer, I realize that it’s quickly slipping away. Chalk up another one!
As Fall approaches, I find myself with mixed feelings—a little sadness that my favorite time of year is ending, but also excitement about some great things on the horizon. It’s reminiscent of the feelings I had in 4th grade as the first day of school quickly approached…although these days I don’t have to worry about who my teacher will be!
This summer has been a balancing act between the fun chaos that comes with spending lots of time with my kids and grandkids and managing the seemingly endless activity at TANGO and NFP.
I thought summer was supposed to be a time to recharge??
Looking ahead, we at TANGO have lots to be excited about—meetings at our newer hubs in Albany, Worcester and Denver, plenty of educational sessions on the calendar, and, of course, our annual Building Bridges Nonprofit Conference on October 14th in Connecticut. Thanks to our socially conscious TANGO Partners, this conference is complimentary to all in the nonprofit sector!
If you’re planning to join us, please register today. At last look, we already had close to 150 attendees registered! We’ve listened closely to our members’ feedback and have worked hard to create a highly informative, engaging and impactful day. I think it’s shaping up to be one of our best yet.
So, enjoy these last few days of summer while you can. Spend some time with family and friends, sneak in one more round of golf, day at the beach or whatever helps you recharge… Because it’s slipping away!
