Goodwill of Southern New England

Goodwill of Southern New England is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing communities by empowering individuals of all abilities through personalized employment, training, and services. We are a local affiliate of the international Goodwill network of providers, serving communities across Southern New England, CT, Rhode Island & MA. Everything we do is guided by our core values: Respect, Integrity, Honesty, Diversity, Compassion, and Kindness; working toward a vision where every person has the opportunity to achieve a happy and fulfilled life. To bring our mission to life, we operate 17 thrift stores, two boutique thrift stores, 11 attended donation centers, and two outlet stores throughout the region. The donations we collect – whether at our centers or our conveniently located bins across CT, RI & MA – are sold in these stores to generate revenue. This revenue helps to fund vocational training, job search and placement services, supported employment, and other day, recreational, and enrichment opportunities.

Goodwill of Southern New England has a rich history of and strong commitment to supporting individuals with various challenges and barriers to employment and community inclusion. We are proud to be a positive and impactful resource in the community and cherish the strong relationships and partnerships we have established with our funders, donors, employers, fellow community providers, service recipients and caregivers, and other stakeholders. We welcome collaboration and support to help further our mission to strengthen our communities and to create brighter futures for the people we serve.
