ZIM was founded in 2006 to fill a significant gap. There was and continues to be, an abundance of nonprofits that need plans to grow their capacity to support their missions. While there were already many consultants who provided quality plans, few supported the implementation process of those plans. ZIM collaborates with nonprofits, supporting them in defining attainable objectives, setting realistic benchmarks, and accomplishing tasks that lead them toward their objectives.
In 2007, ZIM transitioned to being woman-owned and woman-led and under her guidance, now boasts a team of more than 25 dedicated and skilled staff members who provide direct assistance to nonprofits.
To date, ZIM has worked with approximately 600 nonprofits, raised more than $500M, worked in 41 states and supported organizations providing services in all 50 states and in 121 countries. ZIM’s clients, when working with ZIM, have directly impacted more than 11 million lives.
ZIM and our CEO have won significant awards for our work including recent awards: 2024 Finalist – Woman-BIPOC Owned Company of the Year (Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce) and Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business in Colorado (Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce – for our CEO).
